FREE-RANGE WRITING

Come to ArtConnections and write in community. You’ll find inspiration, and a safe space for your writing in this Amherst Writers & Artists workshop led by Lane Goddard, AWA Affiliate Chair of the Board.

Lane will review AWA workshop practices, then introduce the first prompt—lines from a poem, or pictures, or a visualization. After about an hour, the group will break for tea and a treat. Then after another writing period, writers will be asked who would like to read. (No one has to read.) After each piece, we’ll ask for responses: “What is strong in this writing?“ We will offer no suggestions or criticism.

You may register for Free Range Writing by filling out the registration form and using the PayPal button. We will contact you when we receive your form and payment.
